Steel Fixing

Skilled Labour, Tools and Equipment for Steel Fixing and construction

Successful steel fixing requires the correct sequencing and precise installation of reinforced steel bar and other construction hardware as prescribed on complex engineering drawings. Often a thankless and overlooked process in the construction industry, steel fixing requires the careful review of all documentation to determine the most cost effective, efficient and most importantly, the safest way of ensuring works conform to the Client’s expectations, and the governing AS/NZS Standards for construction.

Our team is highly skilled and together with our collective experience comes the ability to provide design input and constructive solutions as we work closely and collaboratively with our Clients. This approach combined with our expertise sees CSF continue to increase our client base whilst maintaining strong and professional relationships with all our dealings.

MORE THAN A STEEL FIXER

Our services are in no way limited to only installing steel reinforcement, there are many other specialist services required to produce complex reinforced concrete structures. We have grown in skills, knowledge, and resources to also deliver all supporting services associated with steel fixing and concrete structure completion.

This includes, but is not limited to:

Pile Breaking – we break down piles to expose the reinforcement contained within allowing the continuation of the structure. This often involves hydraulic (excavator mounted) equipment, pneumatic jackhammering, or a combination of both.

Formwork and Concreting – We have extensive experience in on-ground formwork installation, concrete placement, and formwork stripping, ensuring cautious and safe placement of concrete to prevent damage to the underlying reinforcement. We have most recently embarked on wind farm bases in the energy sector with great successes in the delivery of all associated works.

Civil Works – We have the equipment and personnel to excavate and prepare large footing trenches ready for reinforcement installation, as well as any other services required. We have most recently embarked on large conduit trenching and installation to support the electrical works associated with wind turbine generators.
